About Michel:
Michel is deeply committed to assisting others and has amassed over a decade of experience in the mental health sector. She is dedicated to creating a secure and accepting space for individuals to work towards their therapeutic objectives. Michel employs a diverse therapeutic approach, adapting to the unique needs of each client. Her methods are shaped by various modalities, including dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and art therapy.
Michel earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Rutgers University and her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2013.
When Michel is not providing therapy, she is enjoying time with family, friends, writing and performing poetry, or in a Zumba class!
